Installing OSX on my Laptop - Kernel Panic

Yesterday I tried following a procedure which explained how to install
OSX on VMWare which failed. I then tried installing it on my PC which
too failed.

Today I followed another procedure which used iBoot boot loader. With
this I could manage to get apple logo over grey screen and then kernel
panic.

I tried the following options:

1) -x -v
2) -x -v cpus=1
3) cpus=1 busratio=21

But none worked. All above options ended up with a kernel panic.

Bitter experience installing MAC OS X Snow Leopard on my VAIO Laptop

After playing around with my iPad I was curious to find out how MAC OS
X would work. I wasn't ready to shell out 1000$ for a Mac book. So I
thought why not try installing MAC OS X on my VAIO VGN C22 GH. To
start with I read lots of blogs which explained how to install MAC OS
on an intel laptop. Spent almost a day reading lots of blogs to make
sure I used the procedure which was most successful. Following this I
downloaded a retail DVD iso of Snow Leopard. Instruction I used was
for installing MAC OS on vmware.

I then downloaded a copy of Vmware player which took about 20 mins and
tried installing it on my VAIO laptop. For some f***** up reason it
wasn't getting installed. Well I am running Windows 7 on my laptop.

Since it didn't work on my laptop though I would give a try on my
bro's Lenovo laptop which too is running Windows 7. To my surprise I
could install Vmware player without any hassles. As mentioned in the
blog, configured the Virtual platform and clicked on the start button.

Guess what Vmware popped an error message on the screen and stopped
running. Basically the error said my laptop's processor did not
support hardware virtualization. Thought Vmware workstation will solve
the problem. So spent an hour downloading Vmware workstation. Didn't
help. Got the same error.

Now the second option in was left with was to install on my HDD. The
ISO image I downloaded was almost 7GB in size so had to use a Dual
Layer DVD to burn the ISO image.

Well guess what. I didn't have any software to burn the ISO image.
Spent another hour downloading NERO's software which could do this for
me. Installed NERO, made a DVD, popped it in my DVD drive an restarted
my laptop.

Luck was out my favor and guess what. Even this s*** didn't work.

After spending almost 6 hours I got nothing but a copy of MAC OS X,
NERO CD Maker and Vmware workstation and a FINGER.

Video playback on iPad

Watching videos on iPad is Fun, Fast, Smooth and user friendly. If you
are watching a video and exit before the Video completes playing, next
time when you launch the application, it starts playing right from the
place where you left off last time.

Want to skip some part, just place your finger on the progress bar and
slide and release your finger once you reach the clip from where you
wanna play the video. iPad without any lag starts playing the video
immediately. Really impressive for a 1 Gh processor.

I took these screen shots while playing Hotel California on my iPad.
It's a 720p video converted to play on iPad. Clarity is amazing.
